Choosing the right fit is key to your cat’s comfort and recovery. Refer to the size chart in the product images, or use our convenient Sizing Calculator Tool to find the best fit for your cat. Please note that weight and breed recommendations are a helpful guide, but every cat is unique.  Gently guide your cat’s head through the neck opening, ensuring the neck toggles are undone. Once in place, adjust the toggles to a firm but comfortable fit and secure the safety flap, making sure all drawstrings are neatly tucked away. Next, guide your cat’s front legs through the openings one at a time and pull the suit downwards over their body. Place their tail through the rear opening, then gently guide the remaining fabric through your cat’s back legs. Open the Velcro trapeze located around the middle of your cat’s back, then wrap the tummy band from underneath to cover their underside. Secure it with Velcro for a snug and comfortable fit, and close the trapeze securely. This section can be rolled up and fastened out of the way using the soft inner Velcro for easy, mess-free toileting. If you’re using absorbent pads, place them in the gusset area between the two fabric layers before putting the suit on your cat. Always monitor your cat during use and adjust the suit as needed to ensure maximum comfort and security.

 Every BreedFit® surgery suit is made using GOTS-certified organic cotton and OEKO-TEX® certified bamboo fibres - soft, breathable, and naturally antimicrobial. These high-quality materials provide comfort, flexibility, and lasting durability. To keep your suit in great condition, machine wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C and air dry. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners to maintain the integrity of the fibres. For continuous comfort and protection, consider having a spare Surgery Suit available to use while the other is being washed.

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 12:30pm (UK time) on the same working day and offer free tracked delivery with every order. Standard delivery typically takes 2–3 working days within the UK. Next-day delivery options are available at checkout. International shipping is available for our overseas customers.

As our Surgery Suits are classed as hygiene products, we’re unable to accept returns once an item has been removed from its packaging or tried on. Each BreedFit® Surgery Suit undergoes strict quality assurance checks during production, packaging, and before dispatch. If you believe your suit is not suitable or has a defect, do not use it.

Please do not use the suit if your cat is known to be allergic or sensitive to any of the materials. Ensure the safety flap securely covers the neck toggles and drawstrings before use, and always monitor your cat while they are wearing the suit.
